SACD invites proposals for a consultancy to develop a sustainable fishery plan for Corozal Bay Wildlife Sanctuary.
The Sarteneja Alliance for Conservation and Development (SACD) has co-management responsibility for the Corozal Bay Wildlife Sanctuary (CBWS), one of Belize’s largest marine protected areas, and part of Mesoamerica’s largest priority, trans-boundary estuarine system. The organization is small but growing, and is composed of a committed community-oriented and local, community-based team. It works from the fishing community of Sarteneja, through the programmatic areas of Natural Resource Management (encompassing surveillance and enforcement as well as research and monitoring), Education and Outreach, and Sustainable Development.
Interested applicants are invited to submit their applications electronically by Friday, February 2nd, 2018 to our Executive Director at email@example.com.
