Our work is guided by three simple principles.

All of the work undertaken by SACD is underpinned by our Vision, Mission, and Goal. These statements best reflect the belief’s of our staff and board members and continue to influence the growth and development of the organization, and our relationships with the different stakeholder communities of CBWS.

Sarteneja Alliance for Conservation and Development

SACD is a community-oriented conservation organization working to protect Northern Belize’s natural resources while supporting the communities that depend on them.

Our work focuses on conservation, sustainable resource use, research and monitoring, surveillance and enforcement, education, outreach and community engagement.
